There are no truer words to describe our dear friend, Charles C. Taylor. Charles had the kindest of hearts and made sure that everyone who came into his life knew about the mission of the Savannah Center for Blind and Low Vision. This mission was dear to him because he too was visually impaired. Charles, through his kindness and generosity, made it possible for the Center to create a place where all who needed help with vision loss, could receive services.
The Savannah Center for Blind and Low Vision is located in The Charles C. Taylor Building, which is aptly named, as it embodies the spirit Charles treasured most; learning. We are sad to lose our friend Charles, but we know he has left a legacy that has changed lives forever. He will be in our hearts for many years to come.
